Spinach & ricotta agnolotti with tomato & basil sauce

Pomodoro e basilico – two of Italy's finest ingredients – come together to create something sublime. Our tomato and basil sauce is just that: chopped basil is added to the sauce whilst cooking, teasing out the taste of the tomatoes and giving the sauce a beautiful orange hue.

Our agnolotti are crafted from the finest ingredients, with each piece carefully filled with creamy ricotta cheese and nutrient-rich spinach, to create a filling that melts in your mouth. These delicate agnolotti pasta parcels are perfectly paired with a rich, tangy pomodoro sauce. Buon appetito!

Note: Please consume or freeze our pasta and sauces within 2 days of delivery.

METHOD

  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Salt the water (around ½tbsp per litre).
  2. Cook the pasta in the boiling water around 2 minutes. Stir regularly to prevent sticking.
  3. Whilst the pasta cooks, put the sauce in a pan and add 3 tbsp (45ml) of the boiling pasta cooking water. Take care to ensure you squeeze all the sauce from the pouch. Gently heat until steaming and then turn off the heat.
  4. Lift the pasta out of the water and transfer to the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
    Serve immediately. Buon appetito!
